They are now giving out 100Gb of free cloud space for a period of one year.   Why are they giving 100Gb of  online storage for free? Convert and Sync Blackberry Local Contacts to Gmail Contact

Nowadays, it is common for some of us to have 2 or more phone with us. One for work and one for our personal usage. Same for me 🙂 I am using a blackberry q10 running Blackberry OS. I typically sync my contacts to gmail so that i have the same sets of contacts and address books between both phones. One reason is to enable me to use either phone to call when one of them is flat. And to keep my sanity knowing that contacts details and synced on both phones when i update the my contacts in either of the phone or in gmail. However, there are some scenarios when i added clients on my blackberry and its saved as a local contact in the phone which is not sync-ed.     To solve this issue where the contacts are not synced between the BB mobile and gmail contatcs account, 1) Click on the Contacts icon 2) Open the contact which u knew u saved locally in only the BB phone 3) at the bottom row, you should see the “pencil”, “Chain” and “3 dots” icons, click on the “3 dots” icon 4) Select “copy to” and ensure that the gmail account u want to sync with is ticked. and select “Done” 5) To verify that the contact is linked and synced to your preferred gmail account, click on the “chain” icon, you should see that its linked with your local contacts and gmail contact”   In a few minutes time, login to gmail.com and check under the contact list, your newly synced contact will appear...

How To Delete a Wireless Network In Windows 8

If you are using windows 8 (inclusive of windows 8.x), you should have noticed that the feature to manage your wireless connection like windows 7 / vista is missing in Network and Sharing Center. Clicking on the wireless icon at the bottom right of the screen does show us the wifi network around us and allow us to forget a network, provided that we can see it. But what will happened if the wireless network profile that we wanted to remove in windows 8 is hidden (hidden SSID)? Or the wireless network which we connect to while we are in a hotel / airport overseas? We simply cant forget the network as we wish to. However, there are still ways, using the command prompt to show all wireless profiles on our windows 8 PC and delete them. How to managed wireless network in windows 8 using command prompt. Here the solution to removing hidden wifi network in windows 8 without the graphical user interface (GUI) 1) open up command prompt. Right click at the bottom left of the screen and select command prompt (Admin), in desktop mode of windows 8 2) type in “netsh wan show profiles” this will show you all the wireless network you have connected to. 3) Take note of the profile name that you wish to delete. 4) type in “netsh wlan delete profile name=”ProfileToBeDeleted” As you can see in the example, i have a wireless network called “testprofile” By typing in “netsh wlan delete profile name=”testprofile” i will have remove it permanently from my windows wireless setting.   Any more questions on how to deleted a saved wireless network in windows 8?
